Acrylic CO2 Laser Cutting Machine

To achieve best results after acrylic CO2 laser cutting, extruded acrylics are recommendated. During the cutting, its suggested to lift the acrylic sheets above the cutting table to avoid the occurence of grid marks after being cut. 

Furthermore, when we perform Acrylic CO2 laser cutting on the materials, we should lower down the speed and increase the power when cutting acrylic sheets. 

Acrylic CO2 Engraving Machine

For most cases, acrylic CO2 laser engraving machine users, engraves on the back side of the acrylic sheets to produce a look-through effect from the front. This is often seen when manufacturing acrylic awards, trophys. 

Normally, acrylic sheets come with a protective firm on the both side of the materials. Redsail recommend that during acrylic CO2 laser engraving do only remove only one side and leaving the other side. This is to prevent the acrylic sheets from getting scratch when handling. If you are working on the back side of the acrylic sheet, remember to reverse or mirror your image before sending job to the acrylic CO2 laser engraving machine.

   It is suggested to use the right type of acrylic sheet, thus, for acrylic CO2 laser engraving machine cast acrylic sheet is the best solution. However, for acrylic CO2 laser cutting machine, extruded acrylic sheets is more suitable.
