REDSAIL industrial laser cutter, with a fully enclosed stronger frame, provides stable and consistent operation. New available drive highest precision in same class stepper motor drive system. This laser cutting and engraving machine is suitable for acrylic materials applications.
Acrylic CO2 laser cutting machine, is perfectly designed for cutting acrylic sheets. There are two types of acrylics, namely extruded acrylic sheets, cast acrylic sheet. When cutting extruded acrylic laser cutting, it will leaves a nice cutting edge which is smooth, thus you will not need to further process it.
On the other hand, acrylic CO2 laser engraving machine is suitable to use cast acrylic sheets to create frosted looking cartoon characters, calligraphy, etc. Redsail recommend that you can do your acrylic CO2 engraving on the back side of the acrylic, to create a looking through image. However, remember to mirror side your image when carrying out the laser engraving process.

Why Redsail
1Q: Why does the acrylic CO2 laser cutting machine produce beveled edges when cutting thick acrylic sheets?
A: The principle of laser cutting is to focus the laser on the X shape, and the midpoint of the X shape is the focus. It is best to have the focal point in the center of the material. Generally, most of the acrylic focusing lenses use 63.5. If cutting more than 10mm of material. A 100 focal length focusing lens is recommended. In this way, the beveled edge will not be so obvious.
Fully fixing the acrylic sheet and then operating the laser cutting machine at a vertical angle can avoid beveled edges.
2Q: What is the reason that the longer the acrylic CO2 laser machine cuts the acrylic board, the larger the position?
A: The longer the acrylic is cut by the laser machine, the larger the position is. It must be that the precision of the machine is not enough and the error is large. If it is slight, it may just be a problem with the quality of the machine. Is there a problem with the drive.
